Setting up Mobile Email to Provide Logs to Evo
Overview
In order to provide logs to Evo from the Evo Authenticator app, an email client needs to be installed and accessible.
Requirements
For iOS devices:
- You need to have the Apple Mail client set up and accessible with an account (Outlook and other mail apps will not work)
- If the email client is not set up correctly, the Evo Authenticator app will be able to detect this and notify you
- If you need help setting up email on your device, you can reference this article from Apple
For Android devices:
- You can use any email client with the caveat that it needs to be able to support attachments
- You can reference this article as a starting point
- The Evo Authenticator app will not be able to detect if your email client is set up correctly
