Elevated Access: Extended User Access Control session
Summary
Evo now has the ability for users of Elevated Access to enable a feature allowing for a longer session of Elevation for Windows User Account Control (UAC) that doesn't require additional prompts.
This setting is configured on a per endpoint basis.
Enabling the feature
When installing the Evo Agent to access “Allow extended elevation session for technician” you will first need “Enable End User Elevation” to be checked.

Administration
When this setting is enabled, any user attempting to access an application that requires elevated permissions will be presented with the new End User Elevation (EUE) User Access Control (UAC) prompt. To proceed with the Windows UAC, click the yellow and blue shield icon located in the upper-right corner of the EUE UAC window.

Once on this screen, if Evo is not set as the primary UAC provider, click More Choices and select Evo Security Login.
If this setting is not configured, you will only be able to approve the request as a one-time authorization.
By selecting a time window (5, 10, or 15 minutes), you can temporarily enable seamless access to additional administrative prompts without requiring repeated approvals during that period.

A notification will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen displaying a timer, indicating the duration the user can continue accessing elevated applications without additional prompts. The session can be manually terminated at any time by selecting the provided option.
