How do I add, edit, or delete a directory?
Evo provides the ability to connect to your existing directory to sync your users, or to create an Evo Cloud directory. To access the Directories page, you must first click on The Specific Tenant, and then Directories.

How to add a directory
For more detail on how to add a third-party directory type, refer to the appropriate article below:
For the below we’re going to add a simple Evo Cloud Directory-as-a-Service (DaaS). Unlike the other directory types, an Evo Cloud directory doesn’t sync users, once the directory is created, you’ll need to add users directly to Evo.
- From the left nav menu, select The Specific Tenant you wish to be working in.
- From the side navigation, click Directories.
- Select the New+ tab top right.
- Choose your directory type
- Enter a name for the directory.
- Click Complete to Create Directory.
The directory will now build and populate under Evo Cloud. DO NOTE: Other directories require additional steps, but the previously mentioned articles guide you through those steps.
How to edit a directory
For each directory type there will be limited or no detail that can be edited.
- From the left nav menu, select The Specific Tenant you wish to be working in.
- From the side navigation, click Directories.
- In the displayed list of directories, find the one you want to edit and click the "pencil" icon at the end of the row.
- Make the edits you want.
- Click Save.
How to delete a directory
Deleting a directory will remove all users contained within the directory. Once a directory has been deleted the action cannot be undone.
- From the left nav menu, select The Specific Tenant you wish to be working in.
- From the left-side navigation, click Directories.
- In the displayed list of directories, find the one you want to delete and click the "trashcan" icon at the end of the row.
- From the confirmation dialog, click Delete to confirm the deletion.
